Holiday Pay Delayed One Pay Period

Dept Order #4 on January 12 announced, "Holiday Pay for eligible members scheduled for the 2nd pay period in January (Jan. 22) has been rescheduled for distribution on February 5, 2010." The City of Office of Labor Relations (OLR) explained to the UFA that the delay is a result of computer upgrades taking place to the accounting side of payroll. OLR stated the delay is Citywide covering all uniform employees eligible to receive holiday pay, not just FDNY. The UFA requested the Dept to publish an explanation in Dept Orders.
