BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Firefighters revived a one-month-old baby girl that they found lifeless in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn.

Firefighters assigned to Engine 321 encountered a hysterical mother holding her lifeless child outside her house on Burnett Street just after 9 a.m.

The firefighters, along with the EMTs who subsequently arrived, administered CPR as they rushed to the hospital -- all as the infant's mother prayed in the ambulance.

As the ambulance arrived at Coney Island Hospital, the child choked back to life and began crying.
