2. FDNY VS. NYPD Football Game
REMINDER: On Sunday, June 1st, at 2pm, the FDNY Bravest Football Team will be playing the NYPD Finest in the 36th
Annual Fun City Bowl at Hofstra University in Hempstead, Long Island (Nassau County). Come out and support the Bravest

3. FDNY CSU LODD Monthly Meeting for Fathers & Brothers
Tuesday, June 3rd from 12:30-2pm at 251 Lafayette St., 2nd floor conference room. Open to brothers who lost siblings in
the line of duty and fathers who lost sons in the line of duty. Meetings will continue to take place the first Tuesday

4. College Scholarship Application
OREMINDER: Applications for the NYS Honorary Fire Chiefs and NYS Professional Firefighter's 2008 Ted Green Memorial
College Scholarships are now available. The scholarship is open to H.S. seniors & recent H.S. graduates who will not
have completed more than one year of college by September 2008. Applicants must be a child of an active uniformed union
member of the NYS Professional Firefighter's Association and have taken the SAT or ACT no later than January 2008.

5. Atlantic Avenue Fire Memorial Mass & Dedication
On Thursday, June 5th at 5pm, the Department will commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Atlantic Avenue Fire, at
which Capt. Scott LaPiedra (L-176) and Lt. James Blackmore (E-332) made the Supreme Sacrifice on June 5, 1998. The
Memorial Mass & Dedication will take place on the sidewalk in front of 2625 Atlantic Ave. (btwn. Sheffield Ave. &
Pennsylvania Ave.) Brooklyn, NY. All off-duty members & their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to
the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
