Upcoming Events

1. Randalls Island FF/Veteran Memorial Wall Inauguration
January 19th at 10am, the Firefighter/Veteran Memorial Wall at Randalls Island will be inaugurated in memory of the 44 FDNY members who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country. To follow there will be a Recognition Ceremony for all current members & their families who have served in Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom. 2. Concert for the Troops
REMINDER: Wednesday January 23, at the Hammerstein Ballroom featuring FDNY Emerald Society Pipe & Drum Band. Only 1,000 tickets available. 3. Annual FDNY Ski Races
Tuesday, February 12th at Hunter Mountain, Hunter, NY. Races begin at 10am. There is a discount available for teams that pre-register: $57 per person. Teams consist of five persons. 4. Michael C. Reilly Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc.
Awards funds to children or siblings of active duty, retired, or deceased members of FDNY. Applicants must be a H.S. senior or attending an accredited college or university. The Scholarship Fund anticipates to award two applicants, one male, one female, in the amount of $2,000 each. All applications must be postmarked by March 31.
